Susanna Paine, an extraordinary woman and itinerant portrait painter, was born in Rehoboth Massachusetts, June 9, 1792. Her work is prolific as she moved between, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island throughout her lifetime and career.
