A very fine Sheraton mahogany two drawer work table, attributed to Thomas Seymour Boston, Massachusetts, circa 1815.

This high quality table features richly grain mahogany veneers and an pleasing mellow historic surface. The rectangular top has outset corners above two long drawers with original lion mask pulls. The sides of the case are fitted with candle slides at each side. The outset legs have reeded tops which begin at the corners of the case and extend into a tapered shaft resting on brass castors.
