This attractive antique candle stand is constructed of high quality mahogany throughout and possess the pleasing proportions of the best New York classical forms. The octagonal tilt top has a mahogany cross banded edge around a vibrant crotch grained mahogany veneer. The top is affixed to a solid block above a reeded bulbous baluster-form post. The stand is raised on three graceful spider-form legs with reeded tops and spade feet.
